My name is Susan Parent. I am a Graphic Designer, a Photographer, a People Person, and so many other things it makes my head spin.
I am graduating soon from the Advertising & Graphic Design program at Randolph Community College in Asheboro, NC and I am excited to get out there and start working. I currently work part-time at the Campus Store at RCC and I have enjoyed it. It’s important to me to love what I’m doing, rather than just accept that I HAVE to do it. It makes all the difference to me.
I love the challenge of working with clients to find what appeals to them in design and to make what appeals to them, appeal to others.
I am not your average college-aged student so I have much more life experience and maturity than those 20-22 year olds who went straight from home to college. I served in the United States Air Force and lived in Alaska for three years. I served 4 months in Kuwait and have traveled to many foreign countries, starting before I graduated from high school. I love to travel. I love meeting new people. I have extreme grace under pressure and I am the right person for the job…whatever that job may be.
